Artist's Comments

An Alley near Times Square in Hong Kong.

I shot it in RAW Format using a Nikon D40 and an 18-55mm Lense. Set the exposures in Photoshop after and then used Photomatix Pro to convert to HDR.

Any Feedback would be great.

:EDIT: short-rib's comments were put to use and the results are simply astounding. Thanks a bunch to him.

I like the colors and the rule of thirds you used.

I'm being a little nit-picky, but that orange broom in the corner bothers me.

I really like this and it's the kind of thing I love doing only suggestion I'd have for this is duplicate the layer, desaturate it and then set the layer mode to soft light or multiply and play around with the layer opacity till you like it... all this to give it a somewhat grungier, darker look but otherwise I love what I see here. Awesome buddy

Wow, That was a really good suggestion.

I chose Multiply at 80%. I don't really use Photoshop too much except to open RAW files and play with the exposure. After that, I use Photomatix to convert to HDR.
